American actor Richard Hatch dies at 71, Know about her affairs and married life

Richard Hatch who was most widely known as Captain Apollo from is no longer among us at present. Richard died at the age of 71 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Richard was married and divorced from Jo Marie Hatch in the past. Besides, Hatch is also linked with Sophie LaPorte.

Richard was married to Jo Marie Hatch in the past. Despite the fact that Richard's relationship with his ex-spouse Jo Marie appeared to be on great terms to his fans, the pair got separated in rather a quiet divorce.

Richard further expressed his grief by saying that their thoughts and prayers are with Richard's family, friends, and fans. Similarly, Star Trek's George Takei also tweeted a picture of the actor with the  caption: 'Rest with the galactic stars.'

Hatch's career as an actor began in 1970 with . In 1978 he appeared in the original for which he even received a Golden Globe nomination. Santa Barbara, California-born Hatch’s dream was to become an athlete but he rarely thought about acting as a child as he was of shy nature.

He began working in television only in 1970. Hatch has written three amazing novels to continue the original series ‘Battlestar Galactica’.

He was very attached to the series as he said that Battlestar Galactica was a milestone in his case as it allowed him to live the dreams and fantasies that he used to have as a child by being a hero, hurtling through space with reckless abandon, fighting Cylons, super-villains, and monsters. 

It is such a sad moment that Hatch is no longer alive but due to his amazing performance as an actor, he will forever live in his fan’s hearts.
